Notes for Alice Lawson (Spouse 1)
Alice went to work for the Vyvyans at Trelowarren and then I am told to Trewoon Hall, St Columb and then to Glynn House, Nr Bodmin, where she met Howard. It seems she became pregnant and went back home to Chybilly, where she later married and had Philip Henry on the 2nd February 1912 having married 14 January 1912
After each meal when working for the Vyvyans Gran was told to have a half hour rest and was given a mint.
when Arthur and Glencoe brought there children to Bridge, Arthur would talk to Howard and Alice would take the boys into the river fishing, as she did with Dawn and John and maybe Stephen although she was a lot older then.
A man called Chapman went to live with Howard & Alice, there was a house built at the back for Henry, as there were only two bedrooms in the house. Henry went to Plymouth Grammer School which had to be paid for.
1901 census. At Mawgen in Meneage with parents . See filed under Cornwall 1901.
