Colinton OPR dated 26/2/1841"Wm Grosert at Fordel, son of the late Adam Grosert and Christina Menzies at Dreghorn, daughter of the late James Menzies, both in this parish gave in their names for proc. in order to marriage and after being reg proc in our parish church and no objections made, were married before witnesses on 5th March 1841 by Revd Louis Balfour, min of Colinton".
